EileenACKFORDPassed peacefully at Alexander House Care Home, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday 11th October 2025, aged 95 years.

A much loved and loving wife, mum, grandma, great-grandma, grandma big wheels and Mrs A. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service at the Exeter and Devon Crematorium on Thursday 13th November at 12:30pm, St Peter's Chapel. Please come dressed as you feel comfortable.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Cancer Research UK by retiring collection, sent to LeRoy Funerals, 10 Alphington Road, Exeter, EX2 8HH or online on this notice.

Eileen, I cannot put into words how much I loved being one of your carers. We spent hours putting the world to rights. You were a wonderful lady who was loved so much by everyone who met you. Your family are so special and I know how much you were their matriarch! Rest easy, it was a privilege to know you.

We have known Eileen for well over 50 years and in recent years she was still as spritely as she was when we first met her all those years ago. She had a long and happy life and valued her family and friends always. Truly a one off who will always be remembered.
